Bonita Springs Utilities Inc. has announced the winners of the 2021 “Drop Savers” water conservation poster contest:

Alizze Grizel Cavero Cruz, Division 1

Hannah Espinoza-Figueroa, Division 2

Jaden Gomez, Division 3
Conducted in partnership with the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association, BSU coordinated with Bonita Springs and Estero elementary and middle schools to inspire students to create a poster depicting a water conservation idea. The contest helps students learn the importance of water conservation in their daily routines and promote water awareness.
The winners were chosen based on the water conservation message, creativity and originality shown through their artwork. BSU awarded each winner with an award certificate, a $50 Target gift card and a $25 Royal Scoop gift card.
“We are proud of our student artists and their commitment to water conservation,” said John R. Jenkins, BSU executive director. “The more each person commits to water-saving habits, the more we do to preserve our limited water resources.”
BSU encourages water conservation by all members. Resources on how to reduce water usage are available at www.bsu.us/water-resources.
